Bhutan Bike Trip Itinerary from Delhi
- Day-1
Start from Delhi and ride about 3 hours to reach Agra. After taking a rest, drive for another 1.5 hours, and stop in Etawah. Ride to Lucknow for 2.5 hours and stay there overnight. - Day-2
The next day rides to Basti from Lucknow, it will take 2.5 to 3 hours to reach there. Stay at Basti for a while then continue riding for 3.5 hours to Muzaffarpur. Take a good amount of rest and then drive for another 2.5 hours to reach Biratnagar. Finally, drive for about 1.5 hours to reach Siliguri and stay there overnight. - Day-3
From Siliguri ride to Phuentsholing and explore the beautiful border town of Bhutan. It will take around 3 hours to reach Phuentsholing. If you are short of time, you can also opt to travel to Paro from Phuentsholing the same day. It is a 4-hour journey. - Day-4
After reaching the Paro Valley of Bhutan, you can go for a trek to the Taktsang Palphug Monastery as it is a must-do thing in Bhutan. If you are not a trekking person you can visit the beautiful cafes there or just ride around and see the Drukgyal Dzong. - Day-5
Ride to Thimphu which is around 50km away from Paro. It is the capital and largest city of Bhutan. Here you can visit the Memorial Chorten, the zoo or roam around the local market
place. - Day-6
Travel from Thimphu to Punakha. It is an absolutely amazing ride as you will be able to see the beautiful Himalayan views. It will take around 3 hours to reach Punakha. Enjoy the amazing views and this beautiful city of Bhutan. Start riding back to Delhi the next day.
